How much do puppies cost?

Many people write to ask me how much an Alaskan Klee Kai puppy will cost them.  Although I have no exact answer to that question, I will try to give you an idea. I believe in judging animals based on their own attributes. The parentage of each puppy may also play a part in the pricing as well as gender, potential breeding or showing quality. (Please read “Why a Champion Bloodline for a pet” if you are considering a pet only)   I evaluate each puppy at many times from birth until they get 4-8 weeks old, after doing this evaluation I then make my offer for placement of this puppy.

My deposit contract allows you to refuse any offer that is made without losing your place on the waiting list. If you decide that you wish to progress more promptly, you might want to change some of your preferences.  A person who is waiting for a Black and White Double Blue Eyed puppy might wait longer than a person who is less concerned with eye color and so forth.

My average price for a puppy is between $1800.00 and $2500.00, but I have heard of puppies that have sold for as low as $700.00 and as high as $3000.00 Our average is approximately $2000.00 It is not uncommon in this rare breed to also require a puppy back (in breed quality puppies) or a number of stud services back, in order to continue contributing to the gene pool of the breed.

If you have any other questions, please write them on your application forms.
